God loves King's Club.
this semester has been particularly blessing. we were told early on that King's Club would be ending if more funding was not provided. i think this helped a lot of the workers really take heart in all they did and prayed for the kids and families. i know i needed that reminder. God convicted me, especially during lock-in that King's Club was the only way this community would hear and see Jesus. not that the rocks wouldnt cry out, but i am blessed to have a part in God's plan for them. after lock-in, Pastor Joy recieved an anonymous check for $10,000 for King's Club. the eerie thing is that when we sell the buses and recieve the money from All Campus (which was another blessing from God), $10,000 is exactly what King's Club needed to get out of debt. what better timing, than right after prayer! God is good.

God has a plan for me.
God convicted me to stay on campus at the end of summer and has provided for me in every way. after finding an apartment with two faithful growing Christian brothers, God provided me with a parttime job that allows me to have time to help out with King's Club. even working at the YMCA gives me experience working with junior high kids. soon i'll begin training to work with kids in the age group i feel called. there may be some openings at the Y for workers to help with after-school programs at the elementary school levels and my director is going to help me get a position there. even if that doesnt work out, i'll be submitting my applications for substitute teaching for the coming semester which getting together has been a trial in itself. i cant wait to see where God takes me.
wherever i go... i will obey ...
